Platte County Health Department regulates food establishments in the county, with the exception of those located in Kansas City, Missouri. Food establishments in Kansas City are regulated by the Kansas City Health Department, which can be reached by phone at 816.513.6315.

Septic System Complaints

Platte County Health Department regulates onsite wastewater treatment systems (septic systems) in unincorporated Platte County and in most municipalities in the county. Septic systems in Kansas City, Missouri are regulated in part by the City's Water Services Division, which can be reached by phone at 816.513.1313.
