CPR Classes

Cost: $60 per person
Time: 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM on either of the dates listed below
Location: Platte County Health Department, 7925 NW 110th St., Kansas City, MO 64153

• Attendance may be limited due to physical distancing requirements associated with COVID.
• At this time, attendees will be expected to wear a face covering while inside the building.
• Each attendee will be provided their own manikin and CPR mask.

BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification

Anyone who wants to learn basic life support can take this course. However, if you need BLS Certification, this is the course for you. The American Heart Association’s BLS Course provides the foundation for saving lives from cardiac arrest. It teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both pre-hospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on high-quality CPR and team dynamics. This class is not to recertify BLS.

Heartsaver® courses

Heartsaver® courses are designed for those with little or no medical training who need a course-completion-card for employment or for other reasons.  These courses may be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.
